Port Ryerse is where it all began. In 1994, we decided to make soap. The simplest of hand made soaps that smell and feel incredible and do they ever lather! (Most hand made soaps have little, if any lather.)
Our soaps are made by the "Cold Process" method. It means we don't have to cook the soaps for a long period of time like Grandma did.
They are all vegetable and biodegradable. We start with the freshest of ingredients, stir until the mixture is ready for the mould, pour and wait for it to set. We then un-mould and hand cut each bar. Our soaps contain naturally occurring glycerin (more than a so-called glycerin bar!) The lather is luxurious and the aromas are great.
Body butters, Salve, Hiker's Friend, face and body products.

You can visit our store in the Village of Port Ryerse, Ontario. It is 3 miles west of Port Dover, on Lake Erie. It is located at 18 King Street (Regional Rd. 57.) It is at the left side of the curve at the bottom of the hill. Port Ryerse is a Hamlet of 80 homes, so if you miss us on the first pass we aren't far away. AND we are The only Soap store in the hamlet! (Actually the ONLY store.)
